Hi my name is Colin and I am a Scotsman living in Italy, with my beautiful Italian wife and my clever son. I consider this site my work but in my spare time, to pay the bills, I help Italian schools teach English pronunciation. I bought an Acer Aspire One netbook, the 8.9 inch version with Linpus light OS, and fell in love with it. This small underpowered computer became my companion that would go with me everywhere.
When I bought it I looked for a website that would help me with my netbook experience but never found one that did. I found plenty that would tell you about new netbooks that were coming out and reviews and maybe one tip thrown in but that is it. I am going to try and explain what a netbook is and also tell you about tips, tricks and tweaks for your netbook including any hardware that can help, what OS to try, Programs and online services and much more all to help you and your netbook get along.
